Welcome to Film Group London, or FilmGL.
I come from Toronto and California where we have hundreds of free film events and dozens of opportunities to watch pre-release films for free. University of Toronto's CINSSU is a good example. I want to create a similar group for movie watchers in London.
We have three main aims.
1. Provide a network for movie-goers and filmmakers in London.

Through our screenings, social events, and directory of local London film clubs, we hope to bring those in the film industry, students, and movie-goers together.2. Notify one another of free film screenings.
Our online community allows filmmakers to promote their screenings, film clubs to find new members, and random people to tell other people about free film events.3. Attend advanced screenings of films.
Our large and targeted movie-goer membership allows us to be one of the first groups that movie marketers contact about free advanced screenings, promotions, contests, and film previews in London.
