Virgin Media Shorts is about shining a light on Britain's best film makers and giving them the biggest possible arena to showcase their work.
The top 12 films will be shown on 214 cinema screens across the UK. One lucky winner could walk off with £30,000 funding to shoot their next film with the UK Film Council and Virgin Media.
Plus, for the first time, we'll be awarding a special prize for the best film made on a mobile phone - this won't make it onto cinema screens, but it'll be seen by millions everywhere else.
